Ingredients:
5-6 boiled potatoes
1 cup of boiled sweet corn
10-12 (1 inch ) sliced cubes of mozzarella cheese
7 tbsp of corn flour
1 bowl of bread crumbs
2 tbsp ginger garlic chilli paste
1 tbsp jeera powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder
¼ th tsp turmeric powder
finely chopped coriander
1 tbsp salt
Oil for deep frying
1 cup of boiled sweet corn
10-12 (1 inch ) sliced cubes of mozzarella cheese
7 tbsp of corn flour
1 bowl of bread crumbs
2 tbsp ginger garlic chilli paste
1 tbsp jeera powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder
¼ th tsp turmeric powder
finely chopped coriander
1 tbsp salt
Oil for deep frying
Method:
In a large bowl add mashed potatoes, sweet corn, ginger
garlic chilli paste, jeera powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped
coriander, 2 tbsp of bread crumbs, 1 tbsp of corn flour and salt. Mix these
ingredients well and shape them into small dumplings. Gently insert cheese cubes
in to the corn-potato dumplings; meanwhile, heat oil in a large open pan.
In a bowl make a paste of 5 tbsp of corn flour and 11 tbsp water (the consistency of the paste shouldn’t be too thick). Roll these dumplings into the paste and then into the bread crumbs. Once the crumbs are nicely and firmly coated, drop them into the hot oil. Deep fry till it turns golden brown. Serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.

Adding cheese is optional. It tastes good even without cheese.
